Creative intervention programmes and mentoring

We empower young people from diverse backgrounds to navigate challenging circumstances and make positive life choices. By providing support, skills, and opportunities, we help them build resilience, explore their potential, and create brighter futures for themselves.

Squash the Beef

Squash the Beef combines trauma-informed mentoring with creative workshops in animation, documentary, drama and podcasting, to help young people explore the consequences of their choices and find safer ways to resolve issues. Grounded in values of respect and responsibility, it offers a supportive space for participants to grow and learn

Roadworker

Roadworkers is designed to make young people job-ready by developing practical media skills alongside teamwork, communication and professionalism. Through hands-on production work and guided mentoring, participants build portfolios, confidence and clearer pathways into further education, training and employment.

Moves on road

Moves on Road is a performance and training hub for aspiring actors and dancers seeking skills, visibility and creative opportunities.

If you think these programmes might be a good fit for your organisation, we can work with you to offer the full range of workshops or support you in selecting just one or two. The programme can run over a period of eight weeks to three months. All programmes come with a recommended maximum group size that keeps sessions safe, focused and engaging. We ask partners to identify appropriate premises, with Roadworks Media providing all necessary equipment and catering.
